BW OPTIC scopes are made by IOR BUCURESTI,
in Bucharest, Romania..
IOR is one of the oldest optical companies in business (since 1936 ), and has over 1000 employees
in two plants with an R&D center in Bucharest. IOR has a long affiliation with CARL ZEISS, LEICA or LEITZ, and HENSOLDT ,
which makes the military line of ZEISS optics in Europe.
IOR uses only the finest German glass, from Schott Glasswerk.
All optical lenses feature the Carl Zeiss T-3 lens coating system , one of the best in the world ; all lenses are multicoated
for maximum light transmission,and anti-reflective performance. IOR scopes are excellent in degrees of brightness, crystal
clarity, and sharpness of resolution. As they have been one the largest suppliers of military optics in Europe, IOR optics
are heavy duty in the extreme. The mechanisms are precise and reliable in operation, providing a lifetime of service.
